1. There’s no competition for the Big Ten title

This sounds crazy when you look at the top of the Big Ten, but is it really? Wisconsin was a media darling to compete for the Big Ten with Jonathan Taylor leading their offense. However, they stumbled against BYU and there were questionable decisions by the coaching staff that led to the missed field goal as time expired to force overtime.

Michigan State has the potential to be dangerous on any Saturday but they won’t compete for the Big Ten title this season.

The Wolverines haven’t shown much signs of life on offense and continue to struggle with quarterback play. This seems to be a theme under Jim Harbaugh and will seriously hurt their chances of playing in the Big Ten title game.

That leaves Penn State. The Nittany Lions struggled in Week 1 against Appalachian State and have put up 51 and 63 points in their last two games. Granted they were playing against Pittsburgh and Kent State but those numbers are still eye-opening to fans.

Can Ohio State go into Happy Valley in what will probably be a night game and win?

Buckeyes fans remember what happened last time they were here and will hope to get a huge victory and potentially climb to number one or two in the polls.

Other than Penn State there really isn’t anything for Ohio State to be worried about if they play their A-game each week.
