All sights will be set on Eugene this Saturday night, as the Ducks welcome Stanford in a key early season Pac-12 showdown on ABC.

Oregon appeared to be looking ahead to the matchup during its 35-22 home win vs. San Jose State this past weekend. Justin Herbert completed 16 of 34 for 309 yards, but was picked off twice. And the Duck ground game had just 134 yards on 49 carries.

On the other side of the field, though, the Oregon defense for head coach Mario Cristobal picked off two passes and held SJSU to 29 yards rushing on 28 attempts.

They will likely find the going much different this weekend if Bryce Love is healthy and ready to go for the Cardinal.

With UC Davis on the docket and a key date at Oregon on the horizon, Stanford head coach David Shaw elected to rest star running back Bryce Love.

The question, though, will be asked many times this week heading into Saturday night regarding the status of Love.

Last year, Love was the Heisman runner-up after running for over 2,000 yards. That included a 17-carry, 147-yard, two-touchdown performance in late October as Stanford bested Oregon, 49-7.

With Love in street clothes, Trevor Speights ran for 87 yards and K.J. Costello continued his hot start with 214 yards passing and a pair of touchdowns to JJ Arcega-Whiteside.

The Cardinal defense held UC Davis to just 50 yards rushing and picked off a pair of passes.
