Rose Bowl: Penn State vs. Stanford

The Penn State Nittany Lions slide up into the Rose Bowl following Wisconsin’s loss on Saturday. After they struggled in Week 1, the Nittany Lions have rolled over both Pittsburgh and Kent State, giving them an undefeated record before conference play starts.

Penn State’s fate still remains in their hands, but their games against Ohio State and Michigan State are just around the corner. Can Penn State make it to a third straight New Year’s Six Bowl game, or will their conference schedule have them on the outside looking in.

It took over one quarter of play for the Stanford Cardinal to find the end zone this past Saturday, but quarterback K.J. Costello and the Cardinal were able to shake off the rust and finish strong, beating UC-Davis, 30-10.

But now all eyes are on their game vs Oregon. With a win, the Cardinal will be in the driver’s seat to the Pac-12 Championship game. But a loss, will have the Cardinal’s fate in the hands of the rest of the Pac-12.
