Sugar Bowl: Virginia Tech vs. Georgia

The Virginia Tech Hokies were another team who’s game was canceled do to Hurricane Florence this past Saturday. And with Old Dominion this week, followed by their bye week, the Hokies should remain in our projections until their matchup versus Notre Dame, three Saturdays from now. This game would play a huge deciding factor in not only the Hokies’ season but in Notre Dame’s season as well.

The Georgia Bulldogs have yet to be tested this season, and maybe with Missouri’s offense, they’ll get their first fight of the season. The Bulldogs could easily be in the College Football Playoff, but they’ll have to wait until mid-October before they take on some serous competition. Luckily for the Bulldogs, most of their tougher opponents are in the middle to back end of their schedule, providing them plenty of time to work out any kinks they may have on either side of the ball.

A lot has changed since last week, and next week’s New Year’s Six Bowl Projections could go through even more changes. What’s in store for Week 4? Just wait and see for yourselves.
