Friday night

FAU at UCF, 7:00 p.m. EST, ESPN

It’s weird to see such a good game on a Friday night, but UCF and FAU are two of the best G5 teams in the country, and I’m super excited to see them square off. UCF is probably going to win, because they’re simply more talented, but this should be a great test, and could get really pointsy if FAU can get going early.

One sentence sell: Take any chance you get to watch this UCF team because they’re fantastic.

Washington State at USC, 10:30 p.m. EST, ESPN

USC may not actually be any good this season, as freshman quarterback JT Daniels and the rest of the team have now lost two straight to Stanford and Texas. What’s the best cure for a struggling, young team? Obviously, it’s to play a team led by an insane pirate that loves to create chaos, and to do that on a Friday night. Brilliant.

One sentence sell: This one is going to get extremely dumb pretty much immediately.
