The offense looked out of sync early

Although the Bulldogs offense looked like they played a good game on paper, it took until the start of the second half for the offense to really get things going.

Jake Fromm threw three touchdowns in the Bulldogs decisive win but was only 13 for 23 with 260 yards passing. His favorite receiver for most of the game was Riley Ridley, who hauled in five passes for 87 yards and a score. If Fromm were able to play with more accuracy if Georgia is going to challenge Alabama and LSU in the SEC this year.

Georgia was able to run the ball effectively with Elijah Holyfield and D’Andre Swift. Holyfield ran the ball 14 times for 90 yards and Swift was able to get 16 carries for 71 yards. As a team, the Bulldogs averaged 4.6 yards per carry and it looked like they could run the ball at will in the second half.

Next week the offense will face off against a new look Volunteers defense, so it could end up being a tougher test than the Tigers put up this week.
