Tua takes over

No. 1 Alabama played at home against the No. 22 Texas A&M Aggies.

By the end of the first half, Tua Tagovailoa had completed 16 of his 18 passing attempts for 222 yards and had four total touchdowns, three passing and one rushing. Tua helped the Crimson Tide enter half time with a 31-13 lead.

The trend continued early in the second half when Alabama scored twice in the third quarter, while holding the Aggies to only a field goal. The game ended in a score of Alabama 45 – Texas A&M 23.

The Aggies were Alabama’s first ranked opponent they faced all year. With a solid win over a quality opponent, the Crimson Tide remains at number one in the projected top four.

With the Tua Tagovailoa looking near perfect against another decent SEC team, the Crimson Tide look unstoppable. And not to mention, their backup quarterback, Jalen Hurts, is still one of the best in country. Next week, the Crimson Tide host the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns. This will be an easy win and will allow the Tide to recover from any small injuries from this week’s game.
