JK Dobbins should be the starter at running back

Dobbins is the most consistent runner on this Ohio State offense. While Mike Weber has put up good rushing stats in spurts over the last two seasons, Dobbins has been the workhorse and playmaker that Ohio State needs on offense.

He has double-digit carries in each game this season and is averaging 80 yards per game on the ground. When Ohio State needed a momentum killer against TCU, Dobbins received a handoff and patiently picked up a handful of yards.

His patience was on display against Tulane, as he ran the ball 11 times for 55 yards and a score. Penn State’s defensive line is full of athletes and highly touted recruits, and the defense is giving up 172 yards per game on the ground.

What can Buckeyes fans expect from Dobbins? Look for him to get between 15to 20 carries, and reach the 100 yard milestone for the second time this year.
