Ohio State Football: Buckeyes scary when finally firing on all cylinders
Ryan Day will coach a Power 5 school next season
In a three-game audition, Ryan Day guided the Buckeyes to victories over Power 5 opponents, including a top-15 win over TCU. What does that mean for the Offensive Coordinator? Naturally, schools will be calling for him to lead their programs, and it would be a major surprise to see day wearing the Scarlet & Grey next season.
Some of the potential schools that will be calling Day include Illinois, North Carolina, and possibly Maryland.
North Carolina finally picked up a win last week but is still one of the bottom dwellers in the ACC.
Lovie Smith looks to be in over his head in Champaign, as Illinois was thoroughly handled by Penn State Friday night, and Maryland may replace the entire coaching staff at the end of this season.
If coach Day helps guide Ohio State to an undefeated regular season and the college football playoffs then expect Coach Day to start the 2019 season coaching another Power 5 school.
So those are the overreactions you will hear from Buckeyes fans this week? Are there any more you can think of? Comment below and let’s get ready for Week 5!
