4. Damarcus Mills, OT, 3-star

It’s always important adding players in the trenches, and Damarcus Mills committing to West Virginia would be a huge snag for offensive line coach Joe Wickline.

Mills, listed at 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds, is a three-star prospect from North Carolina. He holds eight scholarship offers, including Florida, Florida State, Marshall, and Tennessee, among others. Clemson, Louisville, and Notre Dame have also shown interest in Mills, but have yet to offer him.

Mountaineer offensive coordinator Jake Spavital is the primary recruiter for Mills, according to his 247Sports profile, with Wickline listed as the secondary recruiter. The expectation is that he’ll be an offensive lineman, but like most high school athletes played on both sides of the ball.
