Clemson Football: 5 transfer destinations for Kelly Bryant

1. FCS
For someone that has been on the sidelines for a national championship, competed as the starting quarterback in a College Football Playoff semifinal, and captured a conference title, battling again for a starting job could be too much for Bryant to want.
If he isn’t thinking the NFL, maybe dropping down to the FCS level and landing a spot at one of the major programs there could work.
As we have seen in recent years, many NFL scouts target those that play there as legitimate prospects, especially with how many schedule and defeat FBS teams anymore.
Charleston Southern, The Citadel, Furman, Presbyterian, South Carolina State and Wofford are all FCS teams in South Carolina, with plenty more likely knocking down Bryant’s door if that is where he wants to play.
In the last 10 years alone, Joe Flacco, Jimmy Garoppolo and Carson Wentz have all made the climb from FCS to the NFL with much success, along with a handful of others.
Bryant would be a quick study for any offense at that level, and his athleticism would allow him to be a standout on the football field.
