Saturday night-cap

Oregon at California, 10:30 p.m. EST, FS1

Well hello, Oregon, nice of you to join us this week for Pac-12 after dark! After four weeks of thinking you’re above playing in an immensely stupid game well after midnight on the east coast, it’s nice to see you accept your fate and finally participate. All joking aside, this should be a lot of fun. Cal seems to be secretly decent, and I think Oregon is just outright good.

One sentence sell: It’s not as good as the other game I’m about to talk about, but it should be pretty fun to watch on a second screen.

Toledo at Fresno State, 10:30 p.m. EST, ESPNU

If Army-Buffalo isn’t the most underrated game of this day, this might be. After an awesome MAC-MWC matchup last week between, and now this, I’m ready to propose a yearly MAC-MWC challenge that pairs the top teams against each other. Toledo is fun, Fresno State is fun, so everything points to this being an awesome way to end the day.

One sentence sell: If you’re up, you’re going to be watching football, and this is a legitimately good game, unlike most usual Pac-12 after dark games.
