Capital One Orange Bowl – Alabama Crimson Tide vs Stanford Cardinal

The Stanford Cardinal had to come back in their win over Oregon but they did so in dominating fashion. The Cardinal have been one of the most impressive teams all season and their win against the Ducks provided a leading edge in the Pac-12 North. With quarterback K.J. Costello and running back Bryce Love, the Stanford offense looks just as good as their defense does, providing them enough support to slide into the College Football Playoff.

The Alabama Crimson Tide are the best team in the nation and it doesn’t even look close. The Tide trounced the hopeful Texas A&M Aggies and proved why they are one of the best teams Nick Saban has ever put together.

For all of October, the Crimson Tide will remain in the top spot of our projections. But November will provide many tests to this Alabama team with LSU, Mississippi State and Auburn still to come.
