Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl – LSU Tigers vs UCF Knights

The LSU Tigers game against Louisiana Tech was a little closer than they wanted but the Tigers were locked-in in the fourth quarter and came out with a 38-21 victory. As stated before, the Tigers are on of the most surprising teams this season.

The Tigers’ run game has been the leading factor in their offense’s success, averaging almost 170 yards a game and nearly three touchdowns a game. All while their defense is keeping their opponents to less than 100 yards on average this season. LSU isn’t a flashy team but they are tough and will wear opposing teams out in the trenches.

The UCF Knights played FAU this weekend in a game that saw a total of 92 points scored ending with a Knight win. McKenzie Milton didn’t slow down his Heisman caliber season, scoring 6 total touchdowns and gaining almost 400 total yards of offense.

Many questioned how the Knights would play following the departure of head coach, Scott Frost. But the answer is pretty evident. The Knights are in good shape to make another New Year’s Six Bowl and have a slim chance of make the College Football Playoff. If they don’t get into the playoff, it won’t be because of them, but simply because of the resumes of the teams ahead of them.
