Rose Bowl Game – Penn State Nittany Lions vs Washington Huskies

The Penn State Nittany Lions offense has been one of the best in all of college football but their defense has been impressively bad, especially against the run. Going into their game versus Ohio State this Saturday, the Penn State defense will need to man up and dig deep if Penn State wants a shot at winning this game. Or else, the offense could be trading touchdowns in a game that could see close to 100 points scored from these two fast-paced and high powered offenses. Trace McSorley has yet to lose a home game as the starter for Penn State, and he will do anything to keep that record unblemished.

The Washington Huskies are back in a projected game with Penn State but this time it’s in the Rose Bowl. The Huskies have a quality non-conference loss on their resume and a couple quality conference wins. Over the course of their next six games they’ll play in four games that could continue to build that resume for a New Year’s Six Bowl, including this week’s matchup against BYU. The Huskies have a balanced team, with their offense averaging over 430 yards a game and their defense allowing just over 300 yards a game. The Huskies chances at making the playoff are just as high as their chances of winning the Pac-12.
