1. Home-field advantage

In my original article that I wrote during the preseason, my top reason that Penn State would be better than Ohio State in 2018 is home field advantage in this game. Once again, it is my top reason for why Penn State will beat Ohio State in a game that may decide who makes the College Football Playoff.

There is nothing quite like a White Out game at Penn State. Last season, the Michigan game set an attendance record with 110,823 people in attendance, and this year’s White Out game may break that record.

Penn State has not lost a home game since they lost to Michigan 28-16 on November 21, 2015. The 2015 season was when Penn State went 7-6 and played Georgia in the TaxSlayer Bowl. Christian Hackenberg was the quarterback and James Franklin was only in his second season at Penn State. Things have changed for Penn State’s program since 2015, and the winning streak should continue.
