College football fans will have their eyes set on some big games in Week 5. However, there are still a few impact games that deserve more attention.
Week 5 has a few big games that everyone should be watching. To start, undefeated No. 12 West Virginia will travel to Texas to take on No. 25 Texas Tech. The West Virginia Mountaineers are led by Heisman hopeful, Will Grier, at quarterback. So far this season, Grier has thrown for 14 touchdowns and only three interceptions. However, the Texas Tech Raiders are at home and have averaged 623.5 yards of offense per game for an average of 52 points.
If we move north, we see that No. 8 Notre Dame will be hosting Pac-12 powerhouse No. 7 Stanford. The Irish have looked questionable this year at times, but did beat a decent Michigan team. As for the Stanford Cardinal, they defeated a good Oregon team last week, but we still are not totally sure how good the Pac-12 is as a whole. Regardless, whoever wins this game will remain undefeated and earn a quality win.
Lastly, all eyes will be on the huge Big Ten face off between No 4. Ohio State and No. 9 Penn State. This game will be absolutely phenomenal. However, there are still at least three games that may have some interesting storylines associated with them.
