OL. Washington. Trey Adams. 30. player. 60.

After spending 84 million dollars for three years on Kirk Cousins, the Vikings are going to need to protect their investment. Cousins has many tools at his disposal with Stefon Diggs, Adam Thielen, Kyle Rudolph, and Dalvin Cook. However, he could always use some more protection from his offensive line.

Trey Adams is one of the best offensive lineman in college football. He likely would have been the first offensive lineman picked in this year’s draft if it weren’t for his most recent, season ending injury. The star left tackle tore his ACL in 2017, but looked to be recovering just fine and would play this season. However, with less than a month before the start of the 2018 season, a back injury popped up and required Adams to have surgery.

Drafting Adams would definitely be a risk for the Minnesota Viking; however, the risk may be worth the reward. Adams, if healthy, could be a starting NFL lineman right away.
