4. Perfection

Throwing an interception is expected from a quarterback, especially when given the keys to the offense for the first time in your career. Not to mention, an interception is expected when you’re playing one of college football’s best defenses. But these expectations and stereotypes have gone right out the door for Ian Book.

Not only has Book contributed to keeping his team perfect on the season, but he hasn’t throw an interception, either.

In 70 pass attempts this season, Book has yet to be picked off. Completing over 74 percent of those passes is amazing, and the fact none of those misses have been interceptions, makes that number even more spectacular. And if he can stay clean in their game against Virginia Tech, Book could be on pace for a season that consists of not turning the ball over. It’s a stretch and nearly impossible, but what if he did accomplish such a feat?

Also considering Book’s rate of touchdowns, yards and completion percentage, a mistake free quarterback should be considered for the Heisman, right?
