1. Baylor will upset Texas

Iowa State was unranked when they upset Oklahoma in 2017. Texas was unranked when they defeated No. 17 TCU a few weeks ago. In college football, anyone can win given the right circumstances.

Baylor presumably will be coming off of their fourth win of the season and Texas will be coming off of the Red River Showdown against Oklahoma. No matter what happens in that game the recipe is there for a letdown game for Texas. If Texas wins you could be looking at team that doesn’t take Baylor seriously. If Texas loses you could be facing a team is dejected enough to not get up for Baylor.

Texas has not been the most consistent of teams this season. They had a Week 1 loss to Maryland and squeaked by Tulsa in Week 2. Then they came back and had more impressive wins over USC and TCU but barely beat Kansas State 19-14 in Week 5.

Baylor will show up ready to play and if Texas is careful they will not be happy with the outcome at the end of the day.
