Saturday 12:00-3:00

Northwestern at Michigan State, 12:00 p.m. EST, FS1

The battle of teams that could be good, or maybe not! Michigan State has had some really rough wins so far this year, and their loss to Arizona State pretty much knocked them out of playoff contention. Their ugly wins, however, have been just that: wins. Northwestern hasn’t been so lucky. These are pretty similar teams, but Northwestern has been on the wrong side of the kind of games that Michigan State has won.

One sentence sell: It’s not a great game, but there could be an upset, and the rest of the Noon slate isn’t great anyway.

Oklahoma vs Texas (Dallas), 12:00 p.m. EST, FOX

I know this is sacrilege, and that no matter what I say things will never change, but man I sure wish this was a night game. I love everything about the Red River Shootout except for the fact that it’s played at noon, in front of what can be a pretty groggy crowd, instead of at 8:00 p.m. in front of a bunch of fans that spent the day tailgating and walking around the fairgrounds at the Cotton Bowl.

One sentence sell: This is the best game of the day, so there’s no real reason not to watch it.
