Saturday 3:30-6:30

LSU at Florida, 3:30 p.m. EST, CBS

It’s the 3:30 CBS game, which means it’ll basically be an NFL game, but this is a pretty significant game, and I think it’s worth watching. If you want points this game probably isn’t for you, but LSU seems to be a top ten team, and if they win this, we’ll have a top five clash next week when Georgia comes to Tiger Stadium. I don’t usually advise which team should be rooted for here, but you’re insane if you don’t want undefeated LSU against undefeated Georgia at night in the best stadium in America.

One sentence sell: If you like defense, this is just the game for you, because there’s gonna be a whole bunch of it.

San Diego State at Boise State, 3:30 p.m. EST, ESPNU

There are some other pretty good games that can fill this slot as the second game at 3:30. Wake Forest-Clemson, if you’re interested in the ACC, Iowa State-Oklahoma State for Big 12, Arizona State-Washington for Pac-12, and Florida State-Miami for a bad football game, but I think we’ll go MWC here. Boise State and San Diego State are both very good, and this could be a preview for the MWC title game.

One sentence sell: It’s a clash of styles, and a super interesting one at that, in what should be a really important MWC game.
