Bigger Than Army-Navy?
The Army-Navy football game is often the biggest game of the year for the Navy Midshipmen and the Army Black Knights. On that day, it’s the only football game played in all of college football. However, the Air Force Falcons don’t really ever get the attention that Navy and Army get despite all three teams competing for the Commander-in-Chief Trophy.

Since Navy has been the better of the three teams over the past decade, Air Force’s biggest opponent on the season has been the Midshipmen. This season is no different. Although Army has a better record, Navy is still the better team.
This year’s Air Force-Navy game is played in Colorado Springs, which gives the Falcons an overwhelming advantage. Falcon Stadium has an elevation of over 7,000 feet, to which the Navy players acclimated, given the Naval Academy is literally on the banks of the Severn River.
Navy has lost the last two trips to Air Force. This year will be a close game, but in the end, the Midshipmen will come out on top. Don’t miss this game, where the players on the field are willing to sacrifice everything for everyone who is watching.
