2. Georgia Bulldogs

The Georgia Bulldogs continue to win easily against fellow SEC teams. This week, the victims were the Vanderbilt Commodores. The score ended 41-13, however the Commodores scored their second touchdown with just a few seconds left in the game.

In this game, Georgia solidified why they were the number two team in college football. Coach Kirby Smart started to pull out his starters midway through the third quarter. Any team that can begin to rest their first string players that early in the game, against any SEC team, is significantly ahead of the rest of the country.

Additionally, sophomore quarterback, Jake Fromm, complete all but six of his 23 pass attempts for 276 yards and three touchdowns. While many other quarterbacks continue to receive massive amount of attention, Fromm is quietly leading the Bulldogs to another tremendous season. If Fromm played on a worse team, he would be given much more credit and be a leading candidate for the Heisman Trophy.

Next week, Georgia will get its first real test against the LSU Tigers, in Baton Rouge. While a win here still may not earn the Bulldogs the No. 1 spot, it will make other teams that much more scared of them.
