1. Alabama Crimson Tide

When you have the best coach, best defense and the best two quarterbacks, you’re going to be the No. 1 team in the country. Alabama gave up the most points to an opponent all year this week in their, 65-31, win over Arkansas. However, 14 of these points came in the fourth quarter, long after the game was competitive.

To highlight Alabama’s dominance, all we need to do is look at Tua Tagovailoa’s statistics. He completed 10 of his 13 passes. But, in this small volume of passing attempts, Tagovailoa threw for 334 yards. It takes most quarterbacks three times the amount of attempts to get that amount of yardarge. Additionally, four of those 10 attempts were touchdowns. Nearly half of the time Tua completed a pass, it was a touchdown. Nearly one-third of his attempts were touchdowns.

These numbers don’t just illuminate Tua’s talent but they also demonstrates the quality of protection the offensive line gives their quarterback and how strong their running game is so that they don’t need to pass often — and the wide receiver’s ability to dominate those that are attempting to cover them.

The Crimson Tide hosts Missouri next week, so you can only imagine how that game is going to go. Can anyone give Alabama a run for its money?
