4. Dexter Williams is offensive X-factor

After missing the first three games of the season, Dexter Williams has exploded and become the X-factor in this offense. Williams was once again electric and the Hokies couldn’t do anything to slow down the talented running back.

He helped the Irish pull away in the second half with a 97 yards score run that was dazzling to watch it in real-time. Williams finished the game with 17 carries for 178 yards and three scores. He has now posted back to back games of 100-plus yards and multiple touchdowns to start the season.

Are the Hokies really that bad? Or is Williams a forgotten game changer at the running back position in the FBS.

The Pittsburgh Panthers gave up 38 to the Orange, and have been one of the worst in the country this year. If they can slow Williams down, it could be enough for them to walk out of the stadium with an upset.
