3. Miles Boykin is elite

Has Miles Boykin turned over a new leaf in South Bend? Consistency has been an issue with the talented receiver all season long and he had one of his best games in an Irish uniform against the Hokies.

Boykin caught eight passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns. He made the Virginia Tech secondary little lost on a number of plays, including on a 40 yarder. He seems to have developed a rapport with Ian Book and should be his go-to target against the Panthers.

Will he be able to keep up this level of performance versus another ACC foe? Jamal Curtis and Taj Harris were each able to exploit Pittsburgh and each caught a few passes for 60-plus yards. If Morgan can beat the secondary deep he could have a huge game against the Panthers.

Expect Morgan to finish the day with at least six catches in the score as the Irish should get an easy victory.
