South Florida and UMass combined to score 100 points in their shootout in Amherst, as the Bulls pulled out a 58-42 victory. Charlie Strong’s team is back in the AP Top 25 this week, and they are on track for another memorable War on I-4 against UCF if they both continue on their winning path.

Jordan Cronkrite dominated the Minutemen on the ground, as the running back finished with 302 yards and three rushing touchdowns on just 23 carries. Johnny Ford added a pair of scores and 77 yards on nine carries. And Blake Barnett stepped up at quarterback once again, throwing for 209 yards and two touchdowns on 17-of-24 passing.

The Bulls boast wins over ACC and Big Ten opponent, beating Georgia Tech by 11 points in Tampa and then Illinois by six points at Soldier Field in Chicago. They head to Tulsa on Friday night hoping to stay undefeated as they reach the midpoint of the season.
