1. Miami cruises in the fourth quarter

In 2017, the Hurricanes scored 13 unanswered points to pull from up 31-28 to a safe 44-28 victory. That was with Malik Rosier behind center and a different feel on offense. The ‘Canes offense still doesn’t click on all cylinders for an entire football game but redshirt freshman passer N’Kosi Perry has been able to create more scoring opportunities with his arm and Miami has been more successful on 3rd downs because of it.

Last year, Rosier completed just over 50 percent of his passes against Virginia throwing two interceptions and only averaging 7.5 yards per passing attempt. Perry is coming off his second start of his career and carved up a really good FSU defense in the second half. The young stud, Perry, threw four touchdowns against the ‘Noles en route to a come from behind victory in Hard Rock Stadium.

After being Florida State, Perry has looked much more comfortable in interviews and the program is fully behind the young man to lead them to the ACC Championship Game in 2018. Miami was there last season too, but looked completely outclassed by Clemson. If Perry can put together a complete game on the road against UVA Mark Richt will know he has his starting quarterback at least for another year or two.
