Heisman Trophy Power Rankings 2018: Dwayne Haskins gaining ground?
Although the Badgers were beaten easily by Michigan, Taylor still had a decent game. He has been consistent all season long and continued that effort against a very talented Michigan defense. He ran the ball 17 times for 101 yards but did not find the end zone this week.
He has started the season off with six consecutive 100-plus yard games and can easily get a seventh this week.
While Taylor has been an excellent downhill runner, He is never seen as a threat in the passing game so in third and long situations he does not give himself the opportunity to get more touches.
The Badgers face Illinois at home this week and Taylor should put up huge numbers against the poor Illini defense. Illinois is giving up nearly 200 yards per game on the ground.
Look for him to get at least 25 touches in a rush for over 150 yards and a handful of scores.
