Charlie Strong’s mission at South Florida this season is apparently to win every single game as unimpressive as he possibly can. The Bulls keep on winning, remaining one of the last remaining undefeated teams in the country, but they have done nothing in recent weeks to silence the criticism surrounding their program.

This week, South Florida held on to a 38-30 win over a UConn team that has been one of the worst FBS programs this season. quarterback Blake Barnett continues to struggle to take care of the football – he makes eye-popping plays followed immediately by head-scratching decisions, throwing two more interceptions on Saturday night against one of the weakest defenses in the country. Barnett has now thrown 7 interceptions on the season to just 10 touchdown passes.

The Bulls are through the easy part of their schedule, and are likely in for a wake-up call in the coming weeks unless they can shore up their issues. Their remaining games: at Houston, vs. Tulane, at Cincinnati, at Temple, vs. UCF
