player. 16. . DT. Mississippi State. Jeffery Simmons. 7

Remember when we talked about a run on players going down? Well, add the Bills to the list of those not wanting to be left out in a defensive line-heavy draft this coming season.

Jeffery Simmons made a name for himself as a sophomore last year, recording five sacks, 12 tackles for loss, 60 tackles, recovering two fumbles and scoring a touchdown for the Mississippi State defense. That all came after a freshman season in which he played 12 games with 40 tackles including three for loss.

Simmons, who is 6-foot-4 and 300-pounds, would make a perfect complimentary player next to current defensive tackles Kyle Williams and Star Lotulelei. It would also allow Buffalo to be able to keep all three fresh by rotating them in and out.

The Bills have shown a desire to get better on both sides of the ball, bringing in Josh Allen, Kelvin Benjamin and Charles Clay in recent years to go along with Lotulelei and Micah Hyde. While still a bit raw, Simmons has plenty of potential and would only improve under the watchful eye of Williams and others.
