PlayStation Fiesta Bowl –  Texas Longhorns vs Georgia Bulldogs

Rematch of the 1984 Cotton Bowl.

After a dominate first half against the Baylor Bears, the Texas Longhorns offense couldn’t get anything going in the second half of a 23-17 win this past Saturday. The Longhorns can’t afford to play one half of football in their next three games, as they take on Oklahoma State, West Virginia and Texas Tech. Their defense has been one of the best in the conference this year, but with the types of offenses they’re playing, the Longhorns will need that offense to improve if they want to get their conference and playoff hopes alive.

The Georgia Bulldogs are fresh off their bye week and take on the Florida Gators in a game that decides more than the leader in the SEC East. The loser could be eliminated from having any chance of playing in a New Year’s Six Bowl game. The Gators are on a five-game winning streak, including a win over LSU who provided the Bulldogs their first loss of the season in Week 7.

Expect a low scoring game as both offenses could struggle in a classic SEC battle. The Bulldogs want to get revenge for last year’s National Championship loss, but a loss will have to put their redemption on hold.
