46. . DT. Alabama. Quinnen Williams. 4. player

No player in college football has shot up draft boards quicker this season than Alabama defensive tackle Quinnen Williams, who has made for a seamless transition along the Crimson Tide front after they lost Da’Ron Payne to the NFL last year.

All the talk on the Tide defensive line coming into the season surrounded Raekwon Davis and Isaiah Buggs, but it has been Williams that has been the most dominant of the bunch. He has lived in opposing backfields this season, racking up 8.5 tackles-for-loss.

His stats don’t tell the full picture that jumps out at you when you watch film; Williams is constantly beating his man at the point-of-attack and causing constant double-teams that open things up for players like Buggs and Davis to make plays in opposing backfields.

Williams is just a redshirt sophomore, but his play this season has skyrocketed his draft stock. The Colts desperately need a player of Williams’ caliber to clog up the middle of their defense.

The Colts also have no clear-cut No.1 corner on the roster, so they could also end up spending this pick on LSU’s Greedy Williams
