2019 NFL Mock Draft: Projected first round after Week 9
Jamie Collins is a prime candidate to be cut this offseason in Cleveland due to the amount of money he is still owed and how poor he has performed in 2018 so far.
If that is indeed the case, the Browns could look at grabbing his replacement in Devin White, who is one of the best athletes in this entire class.
White is your prototypical sideline-to-sideline linebacker who also shows an ability to rush the passer. I expect White to be one of the biggest standouts at the 2019 NFL Draft Combine, with an eye-popping 4.4-4.5 40-yard-dash solidifying his spot in the Top 10.
Cleveland is closer to competing than some probably think, and he would be a big addition to what is already one of the NFL’s top defenses.
I also like the idea of the Browns grabbing LSU’s other Top 10 defender in this draft class in cornerback Greedy Williams, who could team with Denzel Ward to give Cleveland lockdown corners on both sides of the field.
