Okay, so Kansas may have beaten TCU. In fact, they did beat TCU, 27-26. It was dumb, and weird, and if you looked at the stats, you probably wouldn’t think that Kansas actually did win. They probably shouldn’t have. Michael Collins put up 351 yards in the air, Darius Anderson had 95 on the ground, and Kansas had no running attack at all. Pooka Williams was awesome in the passing game, but he was just about the only good thing Kansas had.

However, they still won. This still counts as win, and moves Kansas to 3-5 on the season. I don’t expect any more wins for the Jayhawks this year, but with Kansas State left, they could grab at least one more. My feelings on David Beaty remain the same, regardless of how this season ends, unless he somehow leads this team to wins over Texas and Oklahoma to end the year.

Kansas State lost again, because they’re not a good football team. This isn’t news at all, because, well, they’ve been bad all year. They’ve been bad for several years. When Alex Barnes isn’t having a good day, they have absolutely no offense, and on Saturday, he wasn’t having a good day. When that happens, it’s pretty easy to understand how the Wildcats only managed 14 points against Oklahoma.

I don’t have much more to say on Kansas State. This is what they are this year, and will be for the future. It’s only going to get worse. Bill Snyder needs to retire, and the program needs to move forward in a new direction. Maybe Seth Littrell? Willie Fritz?
