Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl – Kentucky Wildcats vs UCF Knights

No, this isn’t a March Madness match up.

The Kentucky Wildcats are having one of their best seasons in school history. Their offense isn’t explosive but their defense has been one of the best in the SEC all season long. The Wildcats take on the Georgia Bulldogs this weekend, and if they win, it’s time to start thinking about the Wildcats making the College Football Playoff. They’d still have to get past Alabama or LSU but if they’re able to beat the Bulldogs, that’ll provide some argument for them to pull off another monumental upset. Will the Wildcats continue their Cinderella season or will Kentucky fans start looking towards basketball season?

The UCF Knights face a minor test this Saturday as they host the Temple Owls, The Owls have already knocked off one unbeaten conference opponent this season and are looking to just the same in Week 10. As mentioned before, the Knights face a tough test of making a NY6 bowl if they were to suffer one loss. It is a loaded season of one and two-loss teams vying for a spot in a New Year’s Six Bowl, so remaining undefeated as more important than ever. The Knights have playoff aspirations but if they’re not careful, the Independence Bowl might be the final chapter of their season.
