1. Alabama beats LSU by 30 points

LSU is now ranked third in the nation after the first official set of playoff rankings were released. I strongly believe they are extremely overrated. The ground game has been exceptional, as the Tigers run for over 190 yards per game, led by stud tailback Nick Brossette who has 10 touchdowns on the season.

However, the big issue is at quarterback, as Joe Burrow‘s does not frighten me or that talented Alabama secondary. Through eight games Burrows has just six touchdown passes! That simply cannot get it done against Alabama.

The Alabama passing game is playing at a level we have not seen since Nick Sabin arrived in Tuscaloosa, and if Alabama gets up by two touchdowns the Tigers do not have the firepower to stay in the game.

Although it will be a hostile environment in Baton Rouge, Alabama won’t be phased and will come out looking to make an early statement by scoring too quick touchdown passes in the first quarter.
For anyone expecting a close game between the pair of top three teams will be disappointed in the outcome of this game.
