59. . Defensive Tackle. Clemson Tigers. Dexter Lawrence. 9. player

The Dolphins haven’t had a good pass rush this season, as the departure of Ndamakung Suh has been a major impact on their ability to get to opposing quarterbacks. Dexter Lawrence can be that immediate replacement at the defensive tackle position.

The talented junior has had first-round pick written all over him the last two seasons, and the Clemson Tigers are giving up only 91 yards per game on the ground this season, good for ninth best in the country.

He had four tackles and half a sack in the Tigers dominant win over Louisville.

Passing up on Lawrence would be a huge mistake by the current regime, and while Ryan Tannehill may not be the long-term answer, it’s not a smart move to reach on a quarterback this early.

Look for the Dolphins to get the best remaining interior lineman and quickly bolster their front four.
