Big 12 football 2018 Power Rankings: Oklahoma steady at No. 1 in Week 10
TCU beat Kansas State by three, which keeps them out of the ninth spot, but doesn’t move them ahead of Baylor or Oklahoma State, because Baylor is actually decent, and Oklahoma State beat Texas, somehow. Despite this win, I don’t think TCU is going to make a bowl game this year. They have West Virginia, Baylor, and Oklahoma State left on the schedule, and I just don’t see anyway they win two of those three games.
I’m dropping Oklahoma State to seventh this week because they lost to the team directly ahead of them, but I really have no clue how Oklahoma State lost this game. They weren’t good by any means, but from a stats standpoint, they really should’ve won this game. They passed decently well, Justice Hill and Chuba Hubbard were both good. They only had one turnover, and really, the only things I can tell from the box score is that their struggles on third down and a bunch of penalties sunk them. That sounds about right for this team.
