Big 12 football 2018 Power Rankings: Oklahoma steady at No. 1 in Week 10
Baylor played like crap against Oklahoma State, and somehow, they still got they win. Charlie Brewer wasn’t very good, nor was Jalan McClendon. They had a big run from John Lovett, but that was basically the entire rushing attack. The biggest thing to take away from this game, if anything, is that Charlie Brewer stepped up late, and Jalen Hurd is probably the best player on this team. That’s about it.
At the beginning of the season, I predicted that Kliff Kingsbury would do the same thing this season as he has in nearly every season at Texas Tech during this year, and that his mediocrity would get him fired. While it took a while (as it usually does), Texas Tech has arrived at average at best, just like they do every year. I didn’t expect them to beat Oklahoma, and think they played pretty well, but this is the same story. They can’t beat great teams, they’ll finish with six or seven wins, and play in a bad bowl game.
