2. Junior Benny Snell is the star of the show in this one.

While there may be a shortage of confidence in Knoxville, there sure isn’t one inside Benny Snell. From his “best running back in the SEC” declaration at Media Days to now, Snell hasn’t faltered in his confidence in himself even when his numbers seemed to dip for a bit there.

While the Kentucky offense hasn’t been the strongest in recent weeks by far, they will be able to do enough for Snell to really show off what he can do and honestly I don’t think Tennessee has the defense to stop them from pounding it up the middle.

Snell has eclipsed the 1,000-yard mark on the season, something that is a big deal in the SEC, a conference that prides itself on defense. Like I said though, Tennessee doesn’t have the defense to stop Snell and as a result he could easily rack up about 200 yards on the day if Mark Stoops allows him to run as often as he should be in this one.

My bold prediction? Snell gets 200 yards and a touchdown in this one as the Wildcats take down the Volunteers on the road. This is going to be a performance that will easily up Snell’s draft stock as the season comes to a close and decision time looms near for the junior running back.
