The 2018 Buffalo Bills are in desperate need of a quarterback. They believe they have their guy, though, in the form of Wyoming rookie Josh Allen, but he’s been sidelined the past few weeks with an elbow injury. It’s highly unlikely the Bills are a playoff team with him starting, but their offense has been abysmal under Nathan Peterman and Derek Anderson‘s control.

Those two aren’t the only ones to blame, though, as the supporting cast offensively could produce at a much higher level. But seeing how they have their suspected quarterback-of-the-future, adding an offensive tackle to protect him would be a smart decision – that’s where Alabama’s Jonah Williams comes in.

Williams is far from a sexy pick – especially with defenders like Ohio State’s Nick Bosa and Houston’s Ed Oliver on the board – but he’d be an excellent building block for the Bills’ future.

At 6-foot-5 and 300 pounds, Williams possesses not only the size to compete in the trenches at the next level, but the versatility to do it on either edge. Dating back to his freshman season, Williams has started all 37 games as a member of the Crimson Tide and has played at both right (15 starts) and left tackle (22 starts).
