College Football Playoff Top 4 Projections 2018: Week 12
1. Alabama Crimson Tide
There really isn’t much to say anymore about Alabama. Before the season started, I thought the game against Mississippi State was a matchup that could lead to a possible upset.
But after watching how dominant the Crimson Tide has been this entire year, I knew the Bulldogs did not stand a chance. Alabama shut out Mississippi State 24-0, which means the Crimson Tide have not been scored on in nine consecutive quarters.
Next week, Alabama hosts The Citadel, in a game that should not even be played. The Citadel is a FCS team that has a record of 4-5. Alabama could literally win this game 100-0 if they wanted to.
This Alabama team is by far the best we have seen in the College Football Playoff era, and has begun to be considered as the best college football team ever. Clemson looks like the only team that may be able to compete with the Crimson Tide, and even then, chances are slim.
