Like I said, I don’t really know what to make of the Texas vs. Texas Tech game, so I’m going to avoid taking much of anything from it. Texas looked pretty good all game long, especially on offense (it was against Texas Tech’s defense, though), but the defense completely fell apart in the fourth quarter.

Ultimately the Longhorns did enough to win the game, but I’m not at all confident in them heading into their matchup with Iowa State this Saturday.

I think Iowa State is going to be in the Big 12 Championship in a couple weeks. Obviously, they need some help to make that happen, but I think they’re going to take care of business against Texas and Kansas State, and find their way to a rematch with Oklahoma. Do they win that game? Probably not. But the Cyclones look awesome right now, and I just don’t see anyone but the Sooners stopping them.
