Another bad week has the binge-watch guide in full-on scavenger mode, as we search for anything decent to watch this weekend.

Last week, in my binge-watch guide, I led talking about how the season had been disappointing, when looking at it on the whole. This week, I’m ready to go even further. This is one of the worst seasons in recent memory, and this week might be the worst yet. The top ten is almost entirely stagnant, and has been for several weeks now. There are just three ranked matchups this week, and none of them are really all that great on their own.

It’s not a deep week either. I found 12 games to recommend, and while that’s not terrible, it includes two Ivy League games, two average at best weeknight games, West Virginia-Oklahoma State as the best possible option in its slate, and Arizona. It’s a bad week. It’s a gross, largely unimportant week, and with rivalry week on tap next week, it’s hard to not look ahead.

Before we do that, let’s look back, to my picks last week. I made ten picks, and by my count, eight of those games were interesting, or entertaining to watch. Sure, some of them weren’t super interesting or entertaining, but they were watchable, and that’s all I care about. That 80 percent hit rate increases my season average to nearly 74 percent. I’m pretty happy with that.
