2019 NFL Mock Draft: Projected first round after Week 12
By Dana Becker
It is going to be an interesting offseason with the Cleveland Browns, who fired Hue Jackson and named Gregg Williams the interim head coach and Freddy Kitchens the interim offensive coordinator. With Williams being in charge of the defense, that has left Kitchens to continue the building process of quarterback Baker Mayfield.
The Heisman winning Mayfield has turned eyes towards Cleveland for good things this year. Nick Chubb and Duke Johnson have become a perfect complement for one another in the backfield, with Jarvis Landry, Antonio Callaway and David Njoku giving Mayfield weapons.
One area, though, that always can see an improvement is the offensive line. At 6-foot-6, 325 pounds, Ole Miss’ Greg Little is the perfect guy to come in and shore things up there. The Browns are starting Greg Robinson and Chris Hubbard to protect Mayfield, but Little has all the tools to slot himself in for multiple seasons.
Little has also become familiar with a scrambling quarterback playing with Jordan Ta’amu, who has surpassed the 3,000-yard mark this year and has over 500 yards rushing in his career.
