Kansas lost Oklahoma, which doesn’t matter at all. They were always going to lose, and they’re probably going to lose to Texas too. What does matter, is that Kansas has an excellent freshman running back in Pooka Williams, and he’s about to spend at least two years coached by Les Miles, who produced Joseph Addai, Stevan Ridley, Spencer Ware, Alfred Blue, Jeremy Hill, Leonard Fournette and Derrius Guice during his 12 years at LSU. That’s a pretty good sign for Pooka’s future.

Kansas State looked pretty good in their surprising win over Texas Tech! The offense wasn’t great by any means, but Alex Barnes was pretty good, and they held Tech to six points, which is pretty impressive, even if it was mostly because Texas Tech had a bad quarterback. The win also means that Kansas State could make a bowl game if they beat Iowa State, which I do not expect. What it doesn’t mean, is that Bill Snyder shouldn’t retire. He should still do that.
