Baylor’s game against TCU mattered to the Bears, mostly because it makes their path to a bowl game a bit harder. Instead of having it locked up now, which I thought they would, they have to beat Texas Tech to get there, which is tricky, because Texas Tech also needs a win to be bowl eligible.

Ultimately though, this is year two after a massive scandal. Things are fine at Baylor. Matt Rhule will get this thing going.

TCU is also now in a bit of a strange spot after their win over Baylor. They still have a shot at bowl eligibility, which I didn’t expect last week, this Saturday against Oklahoma State. However, they’ve now lost quarterback Michael Collins to injury, meaning they’ll need Grayson Muehlstein to step up against the Pokes. He looked pretty good against Baylor, but I just don’t know if this offense can keep up with Oklahoma State’s.
