Despite losing Brett Huntley and Zack Moss two games ago, Utah has posted back-to-back victories over Oregon and Colorado to clinch the Pac-12 South title and a spot in the league championship game in December.

Jason Shelley has stepped in for Huntley at quarterback, throwing for 221 yards a week after going for 262. Armand Shyne, meanwhile has over 220 yards on the ground these past two games as a replacement for Moss.

With their conference schedule complete, the Utes will take on in-state rival BYU this Saturday. They have a shot at winning 11 games this season, sitting at 8-3 with the Cougars, league championship and a bowl game yet to be played.

Due to the poor air quality in California right now, plans for the latest installment of the “Big Game” were put on hold until December 1 between Stanford and California. The series, which is one of the oldest in college football, was to be played this past Saturday.

The Cardinal have had a bit of a rough go here as of late, dropping two of three and four of six overall. That includes close defeats to Washington State and Washington, around an easy win two weeks ago over Oregon State.

With some extra time to rest, Bryce Love, who was  Heisman runner-up a year ago, should be healthy and good to go this Saturday vs. UCLA. Love has ran for 90, 71 and 71 yards since returning from a two-game hiatus due to injuries.
